Situated in the heart of lowdham, the Old Ship has been the local pub dating back to the first known landlord in 1788.
In October 2018 directors Phil and Emma took the wheel and began restoring the pub to its former splendour. The heart and soul of the village, the Old Ship is once again sailing at full speed.
It’s Phil and Emma’s intention to bring new life back into the ship and there aim to offer traditional pub food and excellent beer, wines and spirits for what it was previously known.
Having family and pets themselves, they are keen to make the Old Ship a place where families, villagers and visitors can bring their children and furry friends, relax in a friendly atmosphere and enjoy a drink or two.
It’s going to take time and money to enhance the pub further. So please be patient and watch the progress as it unfolds.
